Spring Break

I do not have school for a whole week. I have been playing Call of Duty 5 since February. But I'm taking a break from that. I was thinking about drawing stuff. I was thinking about drawing a character that Chaotic-Kyubi created years ago. This character was featured in my drawing "Viking Kyubi" back in 2007. The difference is, she will be wearing a mixture of Norman, Byzantine, and possibly Frankish military equipment. The original version wears rather revealing clothing, but I don't like drawing that kind of stuff. I have also decided to use her as a character for a practice fantasy-type story (without magic). However, I could easily abandon it due to lack of motivation. I have not drawn anything in a long time, so I might get some proportions wrong. Here are the plans.

1. Conical Norman-style helmet with mail aventail (curtain of mail attached to the helmet.) I might simplify the mail to reduce drawing time. I might leave out the helmet if it is too complicated.
2. Short-sleeve mail hauberk (coat) over a blue long-sleeved tunic.
3. Sleeves of tunic will have gold embroidery. Might also add forearm armor and leather gloves on her hands.
4. A lamellar cuirass made of bronze scales as well as lamellar defenses for the upper arm and thighs also made of bronze scales.(based on Scythian and early medieval Turkic armor).
5. White trousers with silver thread emroidery and leather boots.
6. Iron greaves on the shins.
7. Kite shield or large round shield hung on her back by a leather strap.
8. A sword of early medieval Germanic, Turkic, or Iranian style sheathed in a leather-covered wooden scabbard hanging from her belt.
9. She would be talking to a bearded man in Germanic-style aristocratic clothing who wears a sword at his left hip.

This could take a few days. The details sound fancy because in this story, Kyubi Shigowa (who in the story will also be called HJÖRDÍS, Old Norse for "sword godess") will be an aristocratic warrior. I will type the details so far in a separate entry in a few hours or maybe tomorrow. If I do not get Chaotic Kyubi's approval, then I might change the story or abandon it.

That is all.

Yeah, I also play Roma Surrectum from time to time. However, I have played it less frequently recently because I am playing the mods End of Days and EOD II. I still play RS every once in a while.
